Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! My name is Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her amazing husband JP at Orange County California. Henry is a happy and go-lucky dad. My followers are mostly on my Instagram page @annephung. In this blog, I will share my life story. The highs, the lows and everything in-between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America along with my family, including my brothers and parents at the age of one and a half. If it wasn't for my parents' devotion to dedication and hard work, I probably wouldn't even share my journey. Since I was confident that I would achieve a better future, I was determined to achieve my goals and make my parents happy. My goals were set as follows: I'd go to university, get work in a corporate, marry and buy an apartment. It was my idea of what success would look like. But the reality of life changed my plans. The amount of money I earned and the importance of my job was not what I wanted to be. I was convinced that I had wasted my time for the opportunity to earn a salary. I was passionate about exercising and enjoyed being social and helping others while I walked the new direction in my life. I discovered my passion for personal training. It was in 2014 that I established my company and it will be 7 years since my birthday in 2021. It is rare to find an Asian woman working in this field. My goal is to be a positive influencer in the industry to provide quality coaching to empower individuals to be healthier and happier individual by developing a sustainable lifestyle cater to their individual goals and needs. I also strive to empower others to go after their dreams and do whatever they would like to in life. In the beginning of my profession, the loss of my mother was the biggest loss to me. She fought a long and arduous battle with Scleroderma and is now in Heaven and is with me in my thoughts and my heart all the time. The lessons of life are often hidden from us however they are highly valuable. The death of my mother affected me greatly and I think she was the one who gave me another chance to live my life. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. She had her chance to start a new chapter in her life which gave me my second shot at an enjoyable and satisfying life. In my 30's, it is the first moment that I feel as if that I'm alive. In sharing my story I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for you. It is my wish that my words will aid you in understanding that you're not alone. That you have the ability to achieve anything that your heart desires. My hope is to live your life at the highest level and not have regrets in your final days. The death of a person is the only certainty in our lives.
