April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4, 1995. In the seventh grade she began taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion for songwriting. When she was 12 years old, April wrote her first song Different. At the age of 14 April spent a lot of her day writing and practicing songs. Then she began to take excursions to write with her father in NY in New York and LA. April also included additional topics in her track"Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt with things like peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal thinking. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer who has a growing following. She collaborates with the renowned brand Ilia in partnership, and is also an expert in the field of lifestyle. She has a disability that is a component of her personality, but it's not the entire of the picture. So, Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't shy away from her disability, but the focus isn't on her disability as well. What message is it sending? It's crucial to understand that we all have multiple faces. Our identities vary and we're beyond our body. It's not my intention to let that be the only thing that defines me. I don't want to be a disability influencer where it's the only thing I speak about since there are many different things about my life. Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. But it does not affect my everyday routine. I continue to do the things I normally would and have adapted to my disabilities. Since it's a part of who I am It's a topic worth talking about. Lockhart is a great example of how to stay moving forward with self-acceptance. Lockhart admits to having had periods where she felt insecure about dressing in certain styles that exposed her arms. Today, she wears anything she wants. She also posts her photos on social media. It's a journey is the key thing I'm not certain that you ever arrive she says about self-love.
