As a child she enrolled in ballet jazz tap and gymnastics. She also excelled at softball, basketball, and other sports. She is also trained in Jiu-Jitsu, as well as wrestling. She is a winner with seven wins and one loss in her MMA. She became a big MMA celebrity due to her power skills as well as her ring-fighting techniques and her relaxed, laidback attitude and beautiful looks. In her role as an actress, she acted in blockbuster movies in Hollywood including Haywire and Fast & Furious 6'. Her work was frequently criticised for her use of her sexuality.
